Campus Leadership and Admins can update a beds status when a bed needs to be taken online or offline. This helps make sure bed availability at the campus is accurate for assignment. Use this when a bed or room is temporarily unavailable, damaged, or being permanently converted to another use.
Taking a Bed Offline
From the Bed.
1. Click 🚦Update Bed Status.
2. Select the Bed Status.
- Temporarily Offline: Select this if the bed needs repair or something in the room needs to be fixed.
- Permanently Offline: Select this if the room is being taken offline for good or converted to a different room type.
3. Enter in Notes as to why you're taking the bed offline.
4. Click Save.
The bed is now offline and is not available for assignment.
Bring a Bed Online
From the Bed.
1. Click 🚦Update Bed Status.
2. Select Online for Bed Status.
3. Delete any Notes for why the bed was offline.
4. Click Save.
The bed is back online and available for assignment.
