As we continue everyday to track potential symptoms of COVID or TB, we'll need to record that information in Salesforce for reporting to the Department of Health.
This article describes how to record a client's health screening for both COVID and TB from the Client Contact Record.
Begin from the Client's Contact page.
1. Click Record Health Screening.
2. Enter the client's Current Temperature.
3. Select whether or not the client has a fever.
4. Select whether or not the client has a cough.
5. Select whether or not the client has shortness of breath.
6. Select whether or not the client has other risks.
7. Enter any notes.
8. Click Next.
If the client does not have a cough, the health screening is complete, logged, and you'll be returned to the client's contact record.
If the client does have a cough, the health screening will continue and ask questions concerning TB. The rest of this article will step you through logging the TB Screening.
9. Select whether or not the client has had a cough that's lasted for 3 weeks or more.
10. Select whether or not the client has had contact with someone who has had a chronic cough recently.
11. Select whether or not the client has lost weight without explanation.
12. Scroll down.
13. Select whether or not the client has coughed up blood.
14. Select whether or not the client has a been more tired than usual over the past month.
15. Select whether or not the client has had fevers almost daily for more than one week.
16. Select whether or not the client has sweated at night during the past month.
17. If the client is a female, select whether or not the client has children with any of the listed symptoms.
18. Click Next.
If the client does not have a long-standing cough along with at least one of the other symptoms described, the health screening is complete, logged, and you'll be returned to the client's contact record.
If the client does have a long-standing cough and at least one other symptom, the health screening will give you instructs on next steps.
If you see the below message, do the following.
19. Refer the client to Mercy Care, our Health Care Liaison.
20. Transfer the client to a quarantine bed.
21. Press Finish.
