At times, our clients may miss their bed check for a variety of reasons including a hospital stay, a pass, or if they decide to leave Atlanta Mission and did not inform a staff member. We need to track when a client has missed bed check and the reason why.
There are two ways to record a Missed Bed Check: from the Client's Contact Page and from the Client's Bed.

From the Client's Contact Page
1. From the Client's Contact Page, click on their active Bed Assignment.
2. Click Missed Bed Check.
The Time of Bed Check will automatically set to when you press the Missed Bed Check button. If the missed bed check occurred on a different day or at a different time, you'll need to adjust it.
3. If needed, adjust the Time of Bed Check.
4. Select the Reason the client was not in their bed.
5. Press Next.
The client's Missed Bed Check now shows on their bed assignment.
From the Client's Bed Assignment
1. Search for the Bed Name.
2. Click on the correct Bed.
3. Click on the Client's Bed Assignment.
4. Click Missed Bed Check.
The Time of Bed Check will automatically set to when you press the Missed Bed Check button. If the missed bed check occurred on a different day or at a different time, you'll need to adjust it.
5. If needed, adjust the Time of Bed Check.
6. Select the Reason the client was not in their bed.
7. Press Next.
The client's Missed Bed Check now shows on their bed assignment.
