When a client leaves Atlanta Mission, their bed assignment must be closed in the system. As part of this process, you’ll also record the reason for discharge and where the client plans to go next.
This article walks through how to discharge a client from their bed.
From the Client's Contact Page
1. Click 🛏️Update Bed.
2. Click Discharge Bed.
3. Select Reason for Discharge.
Depending on your selection, you may see additional questions appear.
4. Select Destination.
Depending on your selection, you may see additional questions appear.
6. Enter in any Discharge Notes.
7. Click Next.
If you discharged someone for a Community Living Infraction, you will be given an option to create an infraction on the next screen.
The client has been discharged from their bed as well as Atlanta Mission. If the client had any children staying with them, they have also been discharged.
