As clients are no longer required to take a medication, we need to dispose of it.
This article describes how to mark a medication as disposed. To learn how to record a new medication, click here.
Begin from the Client's Contact page.
1. Click Medication.
2. Select the Medication Name that you need to mark as disposed.
3. Click the Pencil Icon by Status.
4. Set the Status to Disposed.
5. Set the Current or Previous Medication? field to Previous.
6. Scroll down to the Discard Information section.
7. Select the Discard Reason.
8. Set the Discard Date.
9. Search for and select your name as Discarded By.
10. Click Save.
The medication has been marked as disposed!
