Logging a Previous Call in RingCentral for Salesforce

RingCentral for Salesforce lets you easily log previous call activity to donors and volunteers directly from your Salesforce account.

This article shares how to log a previous call made or received through the RingCentral Apps or Desk Phone in Salesforce. To learn how to make a call through RingCentral for Salesforce, click here.

Log a Previous Call

1. Click on the phone icon in the bottom left-hand corner of the browser.

2. Click on the clock icon.

3. Locate the phone call you'd like to log activity for.

4. Click the paper and pencil icon to log the call.

If a call has not yet been logged, it will have a red dot on the paper and pencil icon. Calls that have been logged will have a green dot.

5. Type in the Subject of your call.

6. Select Call as the type of activity.

7. Type in any Notes relevant to the call.

8. If you need to add an additional contact or change the related contact, click on the arrow by Contact and add the contact.

9. Press Save.

Your call has been logged under Account Activity.
