After checks have been scanned, you will need to Verify and complete Data Entry depending on the batch type. This will prepare the donations to be sent to Salesforce (Luminate) and the Bank.
1. Click on Job Manage on the desktop
2. All of the batches scanned for the day will show in Job Manage
You will need to update any batches that have any errors these are flagged as Incomplete.
2.1. Update Incomplete
During scanning, you may have experienced errors (wrong document, etc). You will need to delete the transaction (since you have already rescanned the check and coupon) of any that only have one sequence or wrong document type.
3. Click on Entry to begin entering data.
Select any batch to begin. Once all data entry and verifying is complete, you will return to the main screen and all batches will say complete.

Depending on the batch type you will either be completing amount verification (i.e. updating the bank routing and account numbers) or ensuring the check is matched to the proper donor. To overwrite an appeal code use.
Check Only Batches - Data Entry (status) the data one one screen (check routing number + amount + appeal code)
Single Batches - Data Entry (status) the check image first (amount + routing number + check number) and then Verify (status) the Coupon (appeal code + amount)

Processing a Credit Card Donation using Coupon Only
Credit Cards can only be processed at Sharon's desk. You will enter all pieces of information. After you have entered all information you will need to Authorize the transaction - using the F10 button - the will talk with the credit card processor and charge the card for the amount entered. You will receive a series of confirmation prompts before you can move on to the next record.
If you experience any issues or the card number is off, you can delete the coupon from the batch and follow-up with the donor later.
5. Remove any rejected Checks + Coupon from Batches (Transaction Removal from Job Mange Batch + Physically Remove hard copies)
You will physically need to remove the check and coupon (not the Trn to give you an idea of where in the file the check is located) and rescan the next day.
You will also need to Remove the Transaction by double clicking on the batch (or Edit) and highlight the transaction # and Hit Remove Transaction Button
6. Update Batch Status - Luminate Ready - Sends Donations to Salesforce
Once all batches are complete, highlight them. Then right click and click on select status, click Luminate Ready and then Reformat Batches. Let it run until complete.
7. Update Batch Status - X9 Ready - Preps Batch for Bank
Highlight batches; right click on them, click select status, click X9 Reformat Ready and then click Reformat Batches. Let it run until complete then close it out.
8. Wait ten to fifteen minutes.
Reformatting can take a few moments, to ensure that all donations are captured you'll want to wait a few moments.
