Discharging a Client from Next Steps

Updated on

When an Next Steps Client leaves the program, because of opting out, needing to be recycled, reaching alumni status, or being terminated from the program, we need to discharge their Next Steps Program Engagement.

This article describes how to discharges an Next Steps Client's Next Steps Program Engagement.

From the client's Active Next Steps Program Engagement.

1. Click Next Steps Discharge Client.

2. Enter the correct End Date for the client's @Work Program Engagement.

3. Select the correct Next Steps Exit Reason.

4. Enter in Exit Notes.

5. Click Next.

The client's Next Steps Program Engagement has been discharged. As a result:

  • The Next Steps Program Engagement is now Inactive.
  • The Next Steps Status is set to the reason related to their Exit Reason.
  • The Next Steps Status Reason has been auto-populated with Exit Notes.
  • They also now have an Exit Reason section.
  • They will no longer appear in Next Steps Caseload Reports.

All the fist bumps.
