Searching for a Client

Updated on

In order to view and update client information, we need to navigate to their Contact Page. Using the search bar is one way to navigate to a client's Contact Page.

Searching for a client before creating a record is also a way to prevent duplicates from being created.  When duplicate clients occur, we are unable to see the full client history.

This article shares a simple way to search for clients.

1. Click in the search bar in the top center of the Salesforce page.

2. Type in the name of the client you are searching for.

3. Hover on the name and view their information including Birthdate, Current Bed, and Contact Record Type to confirm it's the correct individual.

4. Select the correct client.

The Client's Contact Page is now open on your device.

Woot woot! You've arrived!!!
