Sending a Text through RingCentral for Salesforce

RingCentral for Salesforce lets you send text messages to clients or corporate partners directly from your Salesforce account. Once you've sent your text, you can log the text message with details and notes as activity on the account.

Send a Text Message to a Contact in Salesforce

1. In Salesforce, click on the phone icon in the bottom left-hand corner of the browser.

2. Click on the envelope icon.

3. Click the plus sign.

4. Type in the name of the contact you'd like to text.

5. Select the correct contact.

6. Type the message you'd like to send.

7. Press Send.

Your text message sent and was logged as activity on the account.
