Enroll a Client in Next Steps

When a client is ready to move to JSW, we need to create a Next Steps Program Engagement for the client. We do this by adding them to Next Steps. As a result, we'll be able to track their progress in @Work and any services we deliver during this time.

The Vocational Training Specialist or Vocational Development Trainer typically add clients to Next Steps, but any Next Steps staff member can do so. This article describes how to enroll a client in Next Steps.

1. Click Programs.

2. Click Next Steps - Downtown.

If you don't see Programs on your Navigation Menu, you can click the Waffle icon to head to Program Management, or you can edit your Navigation Menu to add Programs.

3. Click Add Client to Next Steps.

4. Select the correct Client's Name.

5. Enter their JSW Start Date.

6. Click Next.

7. Either click Visit their Next Steps Program Engagement, or click Next to return to the Program Page.

Their Next Steps Program Engagement has been created and has automatically set their JSW Start Date.
