When a client leaves Atlanta Mission, we need to close their bed assignment out. As we close the bed assignment, we need to indicate the reason they were discharged as well as where they were intending to go when they left.
There are two ways to discharge a client from their bed. From their Contact Page or from their Bed Assignment.

From the Client's Contact Page
1. Click Transfer / Discharge Bed.
2. Select the correct Exit Reason.
3. Select the correct Exit Sub Reason.
4. Select the correct Destination.
5. Enter in any Discharge Notes.
6. Click Save.
The client's bed has been discharged.
The Client's Bed Assignment has been removed from the top of the Client's Contact Record and the Bed Alert has been removed from Client Alerts.
From the Client's Bed Assignment Page
1. Search for the Bed Name.
2. Click on the correct Bed.
3. Click on the Client's Bed Assignment.
4. Click Transfer / Discharge Bed.
5. Select the correct Exit Reason.
6. Select the correct Exit Sub Reason.
7. Select the correct Destination.
8. Enter in any Discharge Notes.
9. Click Save.
The client's bed has been discharged.
The Client's Bed Assignment has been removed from the top of the Client's Contact Record and the Bed Alert has been removed from Client Alerts.
