At times, a client may engage in behavior that may require a ban for the safety of other clients and staff. In cases like this, when a CLA enters in an Infraction, they are able to recommend a ban to the CLL.
This article describes how a CLA can recommend a ban to the CLL.
Bans should be recommended if a client has taken specific actions that makes them a danger or risk to the community, including terroristic threats, physical violence, or we've discovered that they are a registered sex offender.
Bans should not be recommended if a client is simply leaving Atlanta Mission of their own choice or because they've graduated the program.
From the Client's Contact Record.
1. Scroll down to Incidents.
2. Click the Arrow symbol.
3. Click New.
4. Enter in the Community Living Infraction information.
5. Click Recommend Ban?
6. Click Save.
You've recommended the client be banned to your Community Living Leader. They will receive an email in the morning with all recommended bans and will evaluate your request.
