Client Services Salesforce

July 17, 2019 Bans, Incidents, Infractions, and Write-ups

Updated on

The Bans & Incident tab has caused some confusion for staff specifically with a negative connotation for entering records.  This tab is not a negative tab but instead general observations of clients behaviors - both positive and negative. With @Work starting in July and updates to community living infractions (using coaching) we needed to make some adjustments to the object.  New fields, record types, and layouts were added.

Renamed Tab

Bans and Incident Tab is renamed to be Observed Behaviors & Infractions this name change is to add clarification to staff to be able to record behaviors of clients as well as various write-ups and infractions for @Work, Community Living, Engagement, etc.

New Record Types

Below are the available record types - you may not see every option based on your role.  Everyone should see a *General Incident + a Strike or Infraction record type based on your role.

*General Incident - staff observed behaviors of a client or their interactions while on campus

Ban - documentation of reason as well as time frame a client is not allowed on campus

COAT - (new) only enabled for Cara - TBD

Community Living Infraction - client infraction involving a client that pertains to the community living agreement

Engagement Strike - client infraction revolving around their participation in Make Progress Services

Vocational Service Write-up  (new) client infraction while client is on service activity

@Work Write-up - (new) client write-up while @Work

Removed Fields

Instead of separating Behaviors and Infractions by a field on the record, we've decided to create Record Types for each one. This allows us to report better.

Type and Subtype field were removed
